Customer Service and Sales Support Job Description

The Customer Service and Sales Support position is responsible for supporting the Office Manager by providing general administrative functions and activities of the office and supporting customers and suppliers. This position will ensure processes run smoothly, adjust assignments as needed and assist and support all others in the company to ensure efficient operation, excellent customer service, and sustainable growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain inventory of office supplies; order new supplies as needed.

Maintain a pleasant and constant presence in the front office to welcome clients.

Maintain an efficient system for other staff to access files and records.

Facilitate getting any repairs done to office equipment

Follow up with vendors to ensure on-time delivery of customer orders and then communicate with customers and let them know order delivery times.

Answer phones and assist clients calling in with needs.

Planning and organizing office events (i.e .birthday parties etc.)

Keep office organized and assist associates with assigned administrative duties such as answering phones, sorting and distributing mail, and preparing documents.

Distribute communications in a timely manner, and ensure staff are informed of all critical information.

Help sort, pack and label orders as needed

Maintain trusting relationships with suppliers, customers and colleagues.

Submit timely reports and prepare presentations/proposals as assigned.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications and Skills

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree in office administration or related field preferred.

At least three years of administrative and clerical experience required.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

Ability to collaborate and work well with others at all levels

Commitment to provide excellent customer service

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Excel is a plus.

Analytical abilities and strong in problem-solving

 

Pay range from $17.69 - $18.61 per hour, full time, Monday - Friday 8-4, in office.
